Let the racing begin! Twilight, Vampires? Oh boy.

Kirt, Colin, Mikey and Cierra headed to the First Pro GRT (Gravity Race Tour) up in beautiful Port Angeles, WA. Apparently there are vampires from the Twilight movie up there and Gunnar got some trippy footage of Mikey being followed by one during his race run...

Mikey Sylvestri: 6th Pro Men

Cierra had a bummer race with her first head slap in a race run. OUCH! She was pulled off to the side with a minor concussion but she's a tough cookie and brought redemption to the Sea Otter Classic the following weekend! She said the Vampire was hot.

NEW VIDEOS COMING SOON! HANG TIGHT!!

I think this was the most exciting Sea Otter Classic I've had in the 10 years I've been attending. Kirt has been to every Sea Otter since 1994!

I, Lindsey, went from a timid spectator/racer at Sea Otter in 2002, to being included in the wildly successful SRAM Ladies Lounge with Rebecca Rusch. It was wonderful to see how many ladies came in to hang with us, ask questions, share cycling stories, win prizes and bond over bikes. I'm looking forward to more and more ladies events and bonding time! What's one big thing they learned? We ALL have fear! It's conquering the fear that makes mountain biking oh so sweet!

Kirt finished strong in the pro dual slalom and pump and style competition. He put on his usual show where 99% of the crowd was screaming for him in the dual!!

Mikey had a good, clean race run and is gaining more experience as a pro with each race.

Austin looked fast in the dual slalom and crushed the pump and style comp. It was a good showing for The Specialized AllRide Crew.
