Whew! Finally home for 3 days before heading out again. Been traveling since April 18 spreading the mountain bike love!

When Kirt and Austin headed to Fox to film a video with World Champ Danny Hart and other Fox Head riders, they stopped at the Specialized Headquarters to shred their pumptrack and pick up some sweet new bikes... SEA OTTER CLASSIC KIRT:

Kirt boosts the Speed and Style Course. He landed a sweet 180, but crashed at the berm. He knows how to please a crowd, that's for sure!

And always his favrorite race... Kirt races the dual slalom after a long day at pump and style, signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Kyle Strait took Kirt out first round and went on to win the whole thing! Kirt could not be more proud of his buddy Kyle. He's been a fixture in Kirt's life since he was 13. Go KYLE!

Sea Otter Classic 2012 - Number 18 for Kirt, Number 10 for Lindsey. Kirt and I met 10 years ago at the Sea Otter Classic.

The presence of Women of all ages was quite apparent at this big bicycle festival. I was once again fortunate enough to be a permanent speaker and motivator alongside Rebecca Rusch at the SRAM ladies lounge each day. Ladies from all over stopped into our SRAM tent for some food and beverages and asked questions and heard stories from a panel of Pros about how mountain biking has changed their lives. I was also fortunate enough to spend a morning riding with and mentoring the Little Bellas, a program for little ladies that was started by super stud xc racer, Lea Davison and her sister Sabra! My whole summer is dedicated to the Women's movement and helping women feel more confident and passionate about mountain biking.

The van in all her glory, taking us to the Ranchstyle Jam and DIXIE TRIX in Grand Junction, CO where I, (Lindsey) taught clinics with Tammy Donahugh, Kat Sweet and other rad ripping coaches. The ladies were out in large numbers and they were throwing down. Kat and Tammy headed up the jump clinics, while I helped the ladies with new skills and taught them how to ride technical rocks and drops. Look for the DIXIE TRIX update and photos soon! I also taught a Trek Dirt Series camp in Santa Cruz and am heading back to teach another one in Los Gatos. Look for those updates coming soon as well...
